  Park Rapids, Minnesota to Cass Lake, Minnesota is 49 miles on this paved bike trail. It is busy with both bikes and walkers. There were times when it was hard to keep social distance so if you go, bring a mask!

  The full name is Suomi Hills Semiprimitive Nonmotorized Area. It is part of Chippewa National Forest. There are two trailheads about 5 miles apart on Highway 38 north of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
