Red Wing, Minnesota: Memorial Park
I’ve been to this park before and was disappointed at the lack of longer trails, but this time I found them! Follow the park road all the way to the end. It is called “lower quarry”. I walked 5 miles (8 km) and did not get to all of the trails.

Superior Hiking Trail: Burrito Union to Enger Park
Duluth, Minnesota. Amazing. Sit by a beautiful natural waterfall. Take a few steps and enter a restaurant. Eat your fill and then walk past a farmer’s market, some houses, and and art center. After just a few blocks you have arrived at the largest freshwater lake in the world. Oh, and did I mention the manicured Rose Garden that you will walk through before you actually get to the shore of Lake Superior?

Maze or Labyrinth?
In my last post about my snow labyrinth, I compared it to a path toward a goal that has many changes in direction but as long as you keep following the path you will get to the goal. A maze is different. A maze has many choices to make and many dead ends. The goal is to find your way through.
