About Paint and Hike

portrait photo

Paint and Hike began in 2018 as the creative journey of Tammy Nara. She is a hiking artist and art teacher based in Minnesota, USA. She enjoys using watercolor and acrylic to create responses to the natural world. Experiencing and protecting the natural world is important to her.

Her art can be seen at Studio 321 in the Northrup King Building in Minneapolis. One of her paintings is the cover of the book, Now We Will Speak in Flowers by Micki Blenkush. Tammy’s art has been shown at the following locations in Minnesota: Red Wing Arts in Red Wing, the hospital in Owatonna, Centennial United Methodist Church in Roseville, and Studio 176 in Park Rapids.

The video below will tell you more about me and my process. Warning! It is quiet for the first few seconds. If you turn up the volume, you might wish you didn’t!
