Lake Elmo Park Reserve

This park is in my father’s hometown. It is surprising to me that this was my first time there. It has miles and miles of just the type of trail that I love and it is not far from my current home. Others have told me multiple times that I would like it. I do not know what held me back. My first time there was in October of 2021. Now I have hiked 20 of its miles and plan to continue to explore.

3.1 Miles (5Km)
West edge of park near Inwood Avenue
North edge of park near Yellowstone Trail

Agriculture and trails can co-exist. These beans do look thirsty, though.
This barn is on the north side of Brown’s farm.
This park has lights and maps at every intersection. There are signs to say what time the lights go out. 9:30 or 9:15.
This was the steepest hill I came across. Not too bad.
I know very little about mushroom gathering. This is the type I found (and left) here.
I just thought this tree was especially photogenic.
