Hikes: North Metro

Looking for a trail to explore near Minneapolis or St. Paul? I have found some great ones in the Northern Suburbs.

Minnesota, USA is a great place for getting outside. This page is a work in progress. There are more posts here at paintandhike.com that fit in this category, and more places that I have yet to explore. Keep watching this space and feel free to send suggestions!

Long Lake Park (New Brighton), Reservoir Woods (Roseville), and a 10 mile route through Shoreview and Arden Hills

6 trail suggestions from April 2020:

Silverwood Park, Roseville Central Park, Vadnais-Sucker Lake Regional Park, Vadnais-Snail Lake Regional Park, North Mississippi Regional Park, and Rush Creek Regional Trail.

I plan to add to this list, let me know if there are places I have missed!

Perhaps splitting this into two posts would make sense. Northeast Metro and Northwest Metro. The distance between Stillwater and Maple Grove is not short!
